Your donation is used to purchase a monthly transit pass for a homeless person distributed through the Paulist Center, St. Francis House, CITVN documentary productions and the Bootstrap business incubator for disadvantaged people.

A homeless person receives a monthly unlimited MBTA transit pass enclosed in your anonymous donor greeting card to let them know they are not alone.

For free tax preparation in Boston, you can use the Boston Tax Help Coalition (BTHC), offering services for residents earning under $70,000 at various neighborhood sites and online, through partners like ABCD, with IRS-certified volunteers, multilingual support, and help for people with disabilities, plus AARP Foundation Tax-Aide for seniors and low-income individuals, and MassTaxConnect for simple MA state returns.

In Boston for 2026 (filing for Tax Year 2025), expect to pay a pro roughly $220 for a basic Form 1040 with a standard deduction plus one state return. This is for standard filings without itemized deductions. A national company is offering a one-time-only $150 flat fee (to include all schedules) to new customers. We suggest donating $100 to help the homeless.

We welcome international students, foreign workers and investors. . Many non-CPA tax firms—and even some mainstream tax preparation services—do not file Form 1040-NR (U.S. Nonresident Alien Income Tax Return). This limitation stems from the complexity of international tax law, specific IRS competency requirements, and the need for specialized software to handle foreign income reporting. We meet in Zoom with closed captioning in 36 languages. We suggest donating $100 to help to help the homeless.

Moderately complex returns (Schedules B, D, E) and extra State

Our YouTube documentary productions - focused through the lens of Catholic Social Teaching - are distributed for free to 47,000 subscribers, to include: leadership in 13,000 parishes, 20,000 professors at 196 Catholic universities, seminaries and religious orders located in 76 countries.

We are presently engaged in filming on the streets of Boston a dramatic illustrated reading of Pope Leo XIV's primary exhortation "Dilexi Te" ("I Have Loved You"), released in October 2025, focusing on the deep connection between Christ's love and caring for the poor, building on Pope Francis's themes of poverty, social justice, and evangelical joy, and urging Christians to see the poor as evangelizers themselves. This Apostolic Exhortation emphasizes various forms of poverty, condemns rising inequality, and calls for a renewed commitment to charity, integrating faith with action for the marginalized.
